Phase I - Great Room Addition &
Improvements, Findlay, OH

Project Scope

The 22,000 Great Room Addition is a two story masonry bearing structure with wood trusses, brick veneer, copper gutters and downspouts and a slate roof. It houses a multipurpose room, stage, 8 classrooms, a kitchen, mechanical support areas, 4 restrooms, 3 offices, a youth room, pantry, custodial room, storage areas and a new stairway. New building upgraded electrical, water, fire line and sewer services are included. A large parking lot addition is also in this phase of the project. Future phases include air conditioning of the existing building, a new office and classroom wing and a new chapel. Total construction costs when all phases are completed will approach $10 million and will take several years to complete.

Project Accomplishments

Tuttle Construction had to match a large addition to an existing structure and not have it look like an actual "add-on" to the building. We ere able to use the same brick manufacturer. We were also able to get slate shingles from the same quarry. We had special knives cut to match the existing woodwork and most importantly we had the craftsmen to do the quality work required.
