New Huntington Ball Park

Project Scope

Huntington Park is the new stadium for the Columbus Clippers, a AAA minor league baseball team in the International League currently affiliated with the Cleveland Indians. A groundbreaking for the new stadium took place on August 2, 2007, and demolition began in September. The stadium opening took place on April 18, 2009. Designed by 360 Architecture, the 10,000-seat stadium is part of a $56 million project. Huntington Park will be located at the corner of Neil Avenue and Nationwide Boulevard in the Arena District of Columbus, Ohio and will replace the Clippers' current home, Cooper Stadium.

Tuttle's scope includes all general trades work: finish-related work including wood blocking, casework, countertops, overhead doors, doors and frames, outfield wall padding, outfield netting, back stop netting, athletic equipment, dugout benches, wheel chair lift, batter's eye system, water fountain, water feature, and a whole host of other work. Numerous subs and suppliers worked under our supervision to complete the project on time for opening day.
