Alterations

Project Scope

Tuttle Construction of Lima was selected to renovate the Bluffton Town Hall, located in Bluffton, Ohio. The work consisted of extensive exterior and interior alterations to the existing 3-story Town Hall, as well as construction of a new car garage located behind the building. The entire interior structure of the 4,200 square foot print was demolished down to the original masonry walls. An extensive engineered shoring system was established and maintained during the demolition and the installation of the new structural steel and concrete floors. A fu building scaffold system was used for the installation of the new metal roofing system. Accessory areas that were developed within the Town Hall were the village administrative and police offices, public lobbies and waiting, break room, rest rooms, mechanical rooms, archive storage and assembly and meeting rooms and the addition of an elevator. Site development included concrete walks and curbs, ramps & stairs & railings, paving and landscaping, including extensive masonry restoration. The architectural finishes included wood & tile flooring and an extensive wood trim package that was chosen to match the original finishes of the building.
